Jamie Oliver
Dips, Sauces and Spreads Recipe Reviews

"Great Food starts here"

After cooking many types of foods from various chefs, you will over time realise that most foods do not differ that much in how it is created.

Let me give you a basic example, if you want to create a 20 different award winning home baked pizzas, you generally start with the tomato marinara sauce. Everything else are variables.

Another example is chinese food. If you think of it, its all soy sauce, oyster sauce and fish sauce :-) [Yes I might be over simplifying it, but logically it is right??]

Jamie Oliver uses pesto in alot of his recipes. Another great example is the Indian curry sauce - add chicken it becomes a chicken curry, add seafood it becomes a seafood curry.

Once you are familiar with some different sauces, you truly have great variety of dishes at your finger tips. I remember Jamie had one episode where he cooked for his mates a curry. With the same curry sauce he created a chicken and seafood curry for mains - which saves his time in the kitchen.

Good cooking to you
